  17.  I'm trying to install trumpet winsock on my 386 PC.  We manage to get to the
  18. point where slip is enabled (this is over a dialup connection -- and i can
  19. dial the number, set slip on the terminal server). At this point I 
  20. minimize the window and try to run ws_ftp /ws_ping, both don't work -- am 
  21. I doing something wrong?

  23. I was under the impression that all you had to do was to start trumpet in
  24. one wnidow, and get out (minimize) and go into another one and run ftp/telnet
  25. etc..

  27. Activating all the traces in the trumpet winsock yields an IP checksum 
  28. error.

  30. ANy help would be greatly appreciated.
